Mission

Our research and extension program is located in the Department of Plant Pathology at UW- Madison. The mission of our lab is to understand the etiology of diseases and the epidemiology of pathogens destructive to fruit crops in Wisconsin to provide management solutions to stakeholders. Our program specializes in applied plant pathology, mycology, chemical control, and stakeholder education. We work with fruit growers in Wisconsin and the upper Midwest to enhance crop protection practices by identifying disease concerns and optimizing management approaches using an integrated approach.
